wpe284.jpg (3312 bytes) Matthew Bates. "Painting is the way that I
communicate what I see in my mind. I try to
be as clear as possible and include all of the
details. In that way, you can participate in my
adventure by seeing on my canvas what I see
when I close my eyes."

wpe286.jpg (3180 bytes)Pamela Simpson "My early training in sculpture
influences me to use 'painterly brushwork' to
express the tactile quality of the landscape.
When I'm painting outdoors, I like to set up my
easel in such a way as to be immersed within my
painting. If there are trees in my foreground, I'm likely to be almost
under them. I then use color, value and design to give the viewer a
sense of the three-dimensional quality of the subject."...

Mushtaq Noor-My art (click: http://www.ravingsart.com) is nothing but Lunatics Ravings presented as visualized. The topic of the art is HEART AND SOUL. I never attended any school of art. At 57 my innate power, to conceive and express through brush, was so developed on deep study of philosophy of KHUDI (high-born creation of man) by Dr. Muhammad Iqbal (1877-1938), Poet of The East.

Ed Wyatt - For more than a decade Ed Wyatt's serigraphs have been a favorite for collectors who appreciate the bold style and clean lines of his hand-pulled screen prints.

Stefan Duncan - Charlotte, NC - Impressionistic works of fantasy, Van Gogh style landscapes,
and horror.

Timber-trails - We are currently featuring the art work of Marv Espe Solon Springs, WI

Tara_Hutton - My artwork reflects the glamour and excitement of the Art Deco Era of the 1920's & 1930's all work is original to the artist.

Linda Fabry - Creating is as natural as breathing for me, and I've been doing it nearly as long. Sometimes while painting, I feel almost like an onlooker; the paint, the interaction of the colors, seem to guide me to the final scene.

Shirley Gordon- I've waited a lifetime to paint. Painting feels like...flying. Only on the inside. I want to make you FEEL what my paintings are saying. I would have to say that my painting is about emotional communication, universal themes, and the oneness of us all. That on the inside, where you live inside yourself, we are one. I think that on our deepest level, we are joy, and hope, and light. Mostly light. Painting is like music for your eyes.

Suzanne Ferguson - I choose a subject matter that I find appealing and discover what makes it work. Often, its a quality of nature, such as the lighting, weather, or wind, that inspires a feeling I want to express. Sometimes its how I interpret the character or spirit of a figure, building or scene. Once I know what I'm feeling, I start juggling intuition and creativity with artistic experience.

Gustavo Seziland - Our life is like a dream. It's very difficult to know when you are in the
reality and when your are in a visions while sleeping. I only seize one part of this reality-vision and reproduce for your attention.

Jackson Dembar - Abstract art is about Graphic Invention. Since its inception in the early 1900's, led by Mondrian and Malevich the concept of abstraction has divided art into two distinct categories, figurative or
representational art and abstract art. Abstract art is NOT a picture as is figurative or representational art, however it is a form of communication as is traditional art. It represents a Visual Idea using the three basic elements of art which are COLOR, FORM, and RHYTHM, combined to create a new and unique SIGHT which demonstrates the idea of the painter. This VISUAL IDEA reflects a new way of showing what is around us in the universe, what we see, how we see, what we don't see but know and/or how we may be able to see through the painters eye and mind. The painter exercises his intellect together with his emotional experiences and his total life force to create this unique image, which is his and only his. But if he is successful this image communicates to the viewer which completes the synapse and makes a successful experience for both the painter and his audience. Jackson Dembar

Richard Baumgart - "Richard's art has influences which are clearly those of several great masters but his expressions are obviously all his own. We find his site, his talent, a garden party for the mind!" Won the Gold Art Award.

Bj de Castro - "A self-taught artist for over twenty-seven years, I followed my passion for realism through the mediums of pencil, charcoal, pastel, watercolor and oils. Reading the eyes of animals, for years, gave way to telling stories of travels-through the portraiture of beautiful and historical places visited. I hope my art is a reminder of your own story there, or, encourages you to go make one"…bj de Castro, one of the pioneering artists on the internet, has many art-related affiliations, a membership of the former National Association of Fine Artists and is listed in the International Art Market Directory of Artprice in Paris.. Her paintings are in private and corporate collections throughout the World, exhibited Internationally, and at the Rolex Regatta Show in St. Thomas. This award winning California artist is represented by The Ninth Life Fine Art Gallery in St. Thomas, USVI, Frames By You in Thousand Oaks, California, and several international online Galleries. She is distributed, represented and published by Virtual Galleries/Virtual Art Solutions in Beverly Hills, California-and, Grant Sterling in Aventura, Florida.
